The NHS is clearly under pressure to deliver, waiting lists are coming down and targets for treatment times are getting more and more demanding. It stands to reason that this is reflected in higher demands on clinical product suppliers. It is no longer sufficient to provide products of top quality and reliability. Manufacturers will not survive for long if there is no backup in the unlikely event of equipment failing.

Toshiba has an enviable service reputation. Independent surveys (by the NHS Purchasing and Supplies Authority) have shown that Toshiba are on average well ahead of the competition in terms of customer satisfaction. This applies to both Technical and Application support.

Toshiba's 'application support for life' is well regarded in the industry. Not only allows this occasional retraining of new staff, but also the introduction of new software features is, as standard, accompanied by a number of hours training. Moreover our CT Application training has been awarded CPD (Continuous Personal Development) endorsement by the College of Radiographers.

As for technical support, Toshiba currently operates a call centre from its head office in Crawley with opening hours from 8am to 6pm. Special arrangements can be made for demanding sites with extended opening hours up to 24x7. Calls are logged and engineers dispatched using our 'State-of-the-Art' Service Management Software.
